The visit to the tomb of Nefertari is an experience that fills the eyes and leaves a lasting impression in the memory.

Here the decoration is truly of exceptional quality and almost all the surfaces display vivid colors.

The tomb of the favorite wife of Ramses II was discovered in 1904 by the then director of the Egyptian Museum in Turin, Ernesto Schiaparelli, who found it — as often happened — already plundered.

The deep blue ceiling is dotted with yellow stars; in the scenes Nefertari is shown playing senet (a game similar to checkers), or standing in front of the god Thoth, or making offerings to Isis.

Remarkable are the garments worn by the queen, with transparent effects and light volumes.
