The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is the new archaeological museum dedicated to Ancient Egypt and houses the largest collection of artifacts belonging to a single civilization, with more than 100,000 objects displayed across an area of about 500,000 square meters.

Located in Giza, facing the Pyramids, it was designed to offer an extraordinary view of the famous plateau and to create a dialogue between contemporary architecture and the monuments of ancient Egypt.

The exhibition route guides visitors from the origins of the pharaonic civilization to its later periods through three major themes: daily life, kingship, and religious beliefs. Highlights of the visit include the monumental statue of Ramesses II, the galleries dedicated to Tutankhamun featuring the display of his funerary treasure, and the celebrated Solar Boat of Khufu.
