Visit to the small but very interesting Luxor Museum.

A sufficiently modern museum to ensure a good display of the artifacts, mostly funerary furnishings from the Theban necropolises.

Of interest is the wall reconstructed block by block from one of the temples of Akhenaton.

Destroyed by the pharaohs who followed him in an attempt to erase his memory, the carved blocks that were recovered recount the daily life of the ancient Egyptians and the worship of the god Aten.
